Just as we’ve loaded up our new year fitness plans and packed away the Christmas decorations, it’s time once again for the annual curtain-raiser for tech – the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which takes place at the start of each January in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stuff’s CES 2026 coverage is powered by Acer.
This time around we’re expecting numerous TV launches, fresh laptops (including new chips from the key players), loads of wearable and fitness tech, innovative robot vacs and much more.
After a slight dip around the pandemic (including a cancelled event), the show is now back to full strength and in more venues than ever across the Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center including the huge new West Hall.
We’re on the ground to check out everything across several days of press conferences and launches. It all kicked off on Sunday 4th with events from Samsung as well as a showcase of all the latest wares from smaller companies. Monday 5 will see many more press conferences from the likes of Hisense, Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm and even Lego.
In the laptop sphere we’re expecting launches from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and many more. Increasingly, CES has expanded into other areas, especially automotive, but there are also vast areas dedicated to smart home and wearables as well as tech startups.
We’ll also be picking our Best of CES Award winners during the week, highlighting the very best tech launching over the next few days. We’ll also be picking out our key themes, too, which will dictate the tech we’ll be talking about across the whole of 2026.
