On January 6, the highly anticipated CES 2026 kicked off in Las Vegas, marking the largest and most AI-integrated exhibition in the event’s history. Amidst the technological frenzy, one booth stood out distinctively: Vbot (Vbot维他动力).

Unlike traditional exhibits where hardware is fenced off for display, Vbot’s robots walked freely among the crowds, marking a shift toward true interaction. As one of the event’s most popular attractions, long lines formed as attendees waited to experience the ” Vbot SuperDog,” the company’s debut consumer-grade embodied intelligence product. The massive interest in Vbot serves as a strong industry signal regarding the anticipation for the practical application of embodied AI.

The Vbot SuperDog became an instant hit upon its CES debut, attracting crowds eager for close-up interactions.

Bridging “Fun” and “Utility”

The Vbot SuperDog’s appeal stems from its ability to balance entertainment with practical utility.

  • Heavy Lifting: During the live demo, the robot showcased exceptional load-bearing and towing capabilities. Equipped with a smart expansion backplate, it supports a maximum load of 12kg, allowing it to steadily tow small camping carts.
  • Core Power: Technical staff at the scene revealed that the robot is powered by a self-developed N45 high-permanent magnet joint motor. Despite weighing only 0.4kg, the motor delivers a peak torque of 24.5Nm. This high power density, combined with scientifically optimized limb length, allows the robot to traverse complex terrain with ease, attracting geeks who squatted nearby to observe its joint mechanics.
Demonstrating impressive towing skills, the Vbot SuperDog stunned the audience with its power, drawing praise and snaps from the crowd.

Intelligent Interaction and “The Dog’s Eye View”

In terms of interaction, the robot navigates the chaotic exhibition floor like a seasoned local.

  • Navigation: Relying on multiple high-specification sensors to truly “understand” the environment, it can execute precise voice commands to lead the way through crowded halls. This capability ensures it can handle diverse scenarios, from finding a tent at a campsite to welcoming guests at home.
  • Cinematography: The robot also functions as an intelligent “follow-along photographer,” a feature highly praised by content creators. Understanding road semantics, it follows the user closely. By connecting an action camera to its versatile expansion backplate, it acts as a filming assistant to capture smooth, unique “dog’s-eye view” footage—movements that are difficult to simulate with traditional camera equipment.

Market Reception: A “Grounded” AI Partner

Numerous media outlets at CES expressed strong interest in the Vbot SuperDog, widely regarding the demonstration as a successful “verification of capabilities”. This sentiment was echoed by attendees on the floor. “Vbot has shown us the most grounded side of embodied intelligence; it is not out of reach, but a partner that can actually help you pull a cart,” remarked one spectator. A well-known tech blogger was equally impressed by the device’s realism, noting, “The agility of this dog is too real; its posture when avoiding obstacles makes me feel like it has emotions and thoughts”.

The buzzing activity at the booth suggests the market may be responding to a robot capable of solving real-world problems in daily life. With its superior power and perception systems, the Vbot SuperDog is positioned as one of the consumer-grade embodied AI products most likely to enter homes globally in 2026.
