Samsung is all set to unveil its next smartphone in the Indian market under the mid-range segment. The company is planning to launch Galaxy A36 5G which is a successor to the Galaxy A35 5G. To recall, Galaxy A35 5G was launched in India in March 2024. The reports claim that the upcoming Galaxy A36 5G has been spotted on the BIS certification site hinting toward an imminent India launch. Before we delve into what this smartphone has to offer, let’s see what the report is all about.
Samsung Galaxy A36 5G:
The Galaxy A36 5G has been spotted on the BIS certification with the model number SM-A366E/DS. The DS in the model number refers to the dual SIM variant. The listing indicates that the smartphone is expected to launch soon with enhanced features and specifications. The purported device will come with a hole punch cutout and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other than model number, the certifications doesn’t reveal any other specifications or features. Additionally, the phone was also spotted on the IECEE certification earlier.
As per certification, the Galaxy A36 5G will be equipped with 45W wired fast charging. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.. As per reports, it will run on Android 15 out of the box along with 6GB of RAM.
As far as camera features are concerned, Galaxy A36 5G will be equipped with 12MP front camera. The phone is expected to feature FHD+ 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED display.
Samsung Galaxy A36 5G Price:
There’s no official confirmation as to when the smartphone will be launched in India, but we can expect it to be launch somewhere in March and April. There’s no indication for the price, but the Galaxy A36 5G is expected to be priced at Rs 30,999. The Galaxy A35 5G costs Rs 25999 for 128GB and Rs 28999 for 256GB.
