Vodafone Idea has finally unveiled its 5G services in India. After much anticipation, the telecom giant introduced its 5G services in 17 licensed areas. However, not all the people in India will be able to enjoy the service. This is a very small-scale launch, but we can expect the company to bring its 5G services to all the people of India. The rollout of the Vodafone Idea 5G services started two years after VI participated in the 5G spectrum. Other than Vodafone Idea, Airtel and Jio also participated in the auction and they launched their services in 2022.
Notably, the service is available for both prepaid and postpaid users of the company. The telecom company has deployed its 5G services on 3.3 GHz and 26 GHz spectrum.
