Vivo is all set to launch its next smartphone in India dubbed Vivo V50. The company revealed a microsite few days back and now the tech giant has also revealed the launch date. Additionally, Vivo also revealed the color and design of the upcoming smartphone. Previous rumors hinted towards its features and specifications including some of the AI enhancements from its predecessor. Some other leaks hints that the Vivo V50 is a rebranded version of the already available Vivo V20 in China. However, company has not confirmed anything from the rebranded version of the phone. But yes! The launch is happening on 17 February.

The company confirmed the launch date of the Vivo V50 via its official X (formarly Twitter) account. The teaser showcases that the Vivo V50 will launch on February 17 2025 at 12PM IST. The company has given the right of selling of this smartphone to Amazon and the e-commerce platform will also offer some deals and discounts on the upcoming phone.

As far as features that are confirmed is that the Vivo V50 will be featuring a quad-curved display and will be equipped with several AI features including Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, and Live Call Translation. In addition, there will be facility of AI imaging and editing features on the phone. As far as camera features are concerned, the company would bring the Vivo V50 with dual rear camera with 50MP primary sensor and 50MP ultra wide sensor. For selfies, it will have 50MP front camera.
The Vivo V50 will run on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15 and will be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with 12GB + 512GB RAM.
