What are connections?
The NOW‘s latest daily word game has become a hit on social media. The Times thanks deputy puzzle editor Wyna Liu for her help in creating the new word game and for making it available in the Games section of the publication. Connections can be played on both web browsers and mobile devices and requires players to group together four words that have something in common.
Each puzzle contains 16 words, and each group of words is divided into four categories. These sets can consist of anything from book titles, software, country names, etc. Although multiple words may appear to fit, there is only one correct answer. If a player guesses all four words in a set correctly, those words are removed from the board. An incorrect guess counts as a mistake: players are allowed a maximum of four mistakes until the game ends.
Players can also rearrange and shuffle the board to make spotting connections easier. Additionally, each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest, followed by green, blue, and purple. As Wordle, You can share the results with your friends on social media.
