ASUS has officially launched the Chromebook CX14 in India. This ultra-lightweight, military-grade certified laptop is designed with simplicity and durability in mind. The device features a minimal yet modern design, making it an ideal choice for students and casual users looking for a clean ChromeOS experience. The Chromebook CX14 weighs 1.39kg and is also US Military Grade-certified, which gives added durability to the lightweight device. Plus, the brand has also used 30% recycled plastic, making this Chromebook more sustainable and durable.
On the display side, the ASUS Chromebook CX14 comes equipped with a 14-inch Full HD display. It offers either TN or VIPS panel options with brightness levels of up to 300 nits. Under the hood, it runs on the Intel Celeron N4500 processor paired with Intel UHD Graphics. This processor is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC storage. The best part is that customers also get an additional 100GB of Google Cloud storage.
In the battery department, the Chromebook gets a 42Wh battery and runs on Chrome OS. It also features an FHD webcam with a physical shutter for privacy. In terms of connectivity, the Chromebook includes one USB-C port, one USB-A port, one HDMI 1.4 port, an audio jack, and a Kensington lock slot. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity and is secured by Google’s Titan C security chip. The ASUS Chromebook CX14 is priced quite competitively. The CX1405CKA-NK0154 variant, which offers 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, is available for Rs 18,990. The higher-end NK0155 variant, which offers 4GB RAM and 128GB eMMC storage, is priced at Rs 20,990. Interested customers can buy these Chromebooks via Flipkart. Additionally, another variant, the CX1405CKA-S60394, is expected to be available soon on Amazon, giving buyers more options based on their preferences.
