Samsung is planning to bring its next budget smartphone dubbed Galaxy M56. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench, revealing some of the key features. In general, the Galaxy M series are the downgrade version of the Galaxy A series with trim down in terms of design and durability. However, they come with powerful processors just like A series.

Samsung Galaxy M56 was spotted on the Geekbench with the model number SM-M566B. The upcoming smartphone scored 1,153 in the single-core round and 3,456 in the multi-core round. As per listing, Samsung will bring this smartphone with Exynos 1480 chipset. This is the same chipset that Samsung released last year in the A series smartphone. While we don’t have much about the Galaxy M56, but it seems with the listing that the upcoming smartphone will be debut with 8GB RAM.

In terms of OS, the Galaxy M56 could run on Android 15. Talking about the chipset, Exynos 1480 is equipped with four Cortex-A78 CPU cores, four Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and the Xclipse 530 GPU. To recall, Samsung used Exynos 1580 in the Galaxy A56, but it seems the tech giant is downgrading the processor for its upcoming Galaxy M56.
Samsung Galaxy M56 will be the successor to the Galaxy M55 which was launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which means even in terms of processor the company is downgrading as compared to its predecessor. The Galaxy M55 is equipped with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and a 50MP front camera. To power the phone, the company brought M55 with the 5,000mAh battery. We can expect the same battery capacity with upcoming Galaxy M56.
Samsung Galaxy M56 Expected Price:
The Galaxy M55 was launched at a price tag of Rs 26,999. The upcoming Galaxy M56 could also be somewhere between the same price range of Rs 25000 to Rs 30000.
