Nothing has launched its second budget smartphone under the CMF sub-brand, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, with major upgrades and exciting features. The phone retains the same design while giving users the flexibility to customize the back panel. The new Pro smartphone gets an upgrade in performance with the new Dimensity 7300 chipset and a triple-camera setup. Here’s everything you need to know about the Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Design and Display
The CMF Phone 2 Pro comes with a 6.77-inch AMOLED 120Hz FHD+ resolution screen, offering smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. The panel is a flat display with narrow, uniform bezels and has a brightness of up to 2,000 nits.
On the design front the CMF Phone 2 Pro gets 4 colour variants, with the standout being a candy-orange finish. This phone also features a dual-tone finish, giving it a more premium look. There are a ton of accessories which makes customisations more fun.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Processor
Under the hood, the CMF Phone (2) Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, delivering improved performance compared to its predecessor. Nothing claims that the phone will offer 120fps gameplay on BGMI, along with support for a 1000 Hz touch sampling rate for ultra-responsive gameplay. The base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and games
The CMF Phone 2 Pro also gets an additional physical button, which can be customised to perform various tasks like capturing photos, recording the screen, or audio. This is the new Essential space that gives a unique touch to the device, offering quick access to functions without navigating through menus.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Camera
In the camera department, the phone sports a triple-lens setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. The primary lens is the same lens that is used in their more premium Nothing Phone 3a. In the front it features a 16MP camera for clear and crisp selfies.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Battery
The device comes with support for up to 33W fast charging. This combination ensures you get all-day battery life, with the fast-charging capabilities giving you a quick power-up when needed. The best part is that Nothing has included the charger in the box.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro runs on Android 15, paired with Nothing OS 3, offering a clean and bloatware-free user experience. CMF have promised 3 years of software updates and 6 years of security updates. The device will also feature Nothing’s essential Space, designed to enhance user interactions and overall performance. CMF teased that they will be adding more features to the Essential space in the future.
Alongside the Phone 2 Pro, CMF has also launched three new TWS earbuds: Buds 2a, Buds 2, and Buds 2 Plus. All three models feature CMF’s signature dial design, offering users an easy and stylish way to control volume, playback, and other functions directly from the earbuds.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Pricing
The CMF Phone 2 Pro’s pricing starts at Rs. 18,999 making it one of the most affordable and powerful smartphones in this segment. For the launch sale the customers also get an extra Rs 1,000 bringing the effective launch price down to Rs 17,999 for the base variant. The phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart in India and the sale goes live on sale from 5th May, 2025.
