Kansas City came up just short last year, making it all the way to the Super Bowl on their quest for a threepeat.
However, the Philadelphia Eagles stopped them from achieving that feat by winning the game 40-22.
The Chiefs have undergone a bit of roster turnover since then, but they have slowly but surely retained key players of their roster.
Andy Reid was able to sway Travis Kelce to stay out of retirement and come back to the team.
Trey Smith was franchise tagged to remain as a top offensive lineman for the squad.
Now, the Chiefs have officially resigned linebacker Jack Cochrane to a new contract.
Cochrane was signed by the Chiefs in 2022 as an undrafted free agent.
He made his debut that season, appearing in 15 games and registering nine tackles.
Cochrane has appeared in 47 total games across three seasons with the Chiefs, registering 42 total tackles, two for loss, and one pass deflection.
He missed the end of last season and the playoffs with an injury last season.
Chiefs fans were thrilled to see Cochrane back in red and gold and shared their thoughts on social media.
“Keep it up Jack!” one fan said.
“Excellent. We Love Jack,” another fan said.
“Dynasty is back ON,” a third fan said.
“Red always looks good on Jack. Congratulations,” a fourth fan said.
