China’s authority NPPA approves 109 new games licenses for September · TechNode

The latest batch of domestic game licenses has been released by NPPA with 109 games on the list. The September batch includes one PC-end game, five games for both PC and mobile platforms, one Nintendo Switch game, and 102 mobile games. Notable titles are Tencent Games’ Hunt, Shengqu Games’ Dragon Nest: Journey, 37 Interactive Entertainment’s Dragon Quest, and Xishanju’s Sword of Love: Zero. Since the beginning of the year, 959 domestic game licenses have been issued. In August, the Chinese game market generated revenue of RMB 33.64 billion ($4.8 billion), a year-on-year increase of 15.1%, according to market research platform Gamma Data. [NPPA, in Chinese]
