China’s Leapmotor supplies batteries to commercial carmakers in collaboration with CATL: report

Chinese electric vehicle maker Leapmotor has started supplying battery packs that integrate battery cells from CATL to several commercial carmakers, as the two companies team up to explore a growing segment of the EV market, people with knowledge of the matter told Chinese media outlet 36Kr. Zhejiang Lingxiao Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang-based Leapmotor, has reached deals with five companies, sources said without revealing details.
