On Wednesday, China’s National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) announced its online game approvals for November, with 112 domestic and 7 imported games given the green light. One notable imported game this month is NetEase’s Pro Evolution Soccer Online, a large-scale multiplayer online game tailored for football fans and developed by Japanese developer Konami Digital Entertainment. In Pro Evolution Soccer Online, players can manage their teams, select players, and devise strategies in real-time matches against opponents from around the world. Currently, 1,274 new games have been granted licenses by the NPPA in 2024, including 1,184 domestic and 90 imported titles, surpassing last year’s total of 1,075. [NPPA, in Chinese]
