Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC), the world’s largest chip foundry, has launched a branded honey product called “Ji Mi,” produced in collaboration with local beekeepers and Tunghai University near its fabs in the Taiwan region. The company said the honey reflects ongoing biodiversity efforts around its sites, where surveys and replanting of native plants have enabled bees to return and establish colonies. TSMC presented “Ji Mi” at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo’s “Sustainability × Growth Forum,” describing it as a way to link its factory-area ecology with community partners.
