FOOTBALL broadcaster Cris Collinsworth has been incredibly quiet since the end of NFL season.
Collinsworth, 66, is one of the voices of the winter on NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football.

But the commentator has been enjoying an offseason break since NBC’s last live game in January.
The NBC star rarely posts on X these days.
He took to the social media platform for just the second time this year last weekend.
And it turns out that Collinsworth’s offseason plans are the same as most sports fans.
“Go Gators… whew,” the 66-year-old wrote.
Collinsworth was apparently enjoying watching March Madness action.
The No. 1 seeded Florida Gators held off the No. 8 seed UConn Huskies in a classic last Sunday.
Florida won 77-75 to book their place in the last 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
And that led to Collinsworth breaking his social media silence with a three-word message.
The 66-year-old was interviewed by Kay Adams on the Up and Adams Show last month.
Adams questioned him over his alleged bias towards Patrick Mahomes, which fans have claimed.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Mahomes was sacked six times in the Super Bowl defeat by the Philadelphia Eagles.
“There are NFL fans, I don’t know if you know this, Cris, that think that you really like Patrick Mahomes,” Adams said.
“And they’re gonna hear what you’re saying about the O-line and say you’re giving him outs.”
Collinsworth has never called one of Mahomes’ five Super Bowls.
