The digital infrastructure company Colt Technology Services has added the Managed Leo+ service to its portfolio. It is a managed service that Integrates Satellite Satellite connectivity of Low Earth’s (Leo) with 4G/5G mobile technology. Managed Leo+ is already available in the 65 countries in which Colt has a presence.

The service is responsible for expanding network technologies options for companies that have activity in rural areas and/or difficult to access. Thus, it will facilitate connectivity in production facilities, manufacturing plants or retail shops. Managed Leo+ is complemented by Colt’s fiber optic connectivity and is designed for companies that need a rapid implementation of connectivity infrastructure.

The launch of Managed Leo+ has been carried out after trying it with a biopharmaceutical multinational that works in 30 countries, and that provides service even in rural areas unattended by network suppliers. This company needed a safe and sustainable digital infrastructure, capable of connecting and integrating its operations, executing tools and applications, and sharing data between its headquarters in R&D areas or in supply chain management.

This company needed high levels of performance and reliability, regardless of whether its facilities were in urban or rural areas. And the Leo 4G/5G managed network met their needs, allowing efficient remote access and improving collaboration, while guaranteed compliance with the standards.

Managed Leo+ allows Colt, therefore, to offer connectivity solutions that address the specific needs of their customers, and ensure the continuity of their businesses even in great complexity environments. With this service, the Colt digital infrastructure trio is completed on land, sea and low terrestrial orbit, offering a safe coverage and network with low latency.

Anette Murphy, Directora comercial de Colt Technology Serviceshe pointed out that «las Companies with activity in remote areas and difficult to access are harmed by poor and low quality access to their business networks. This is not only frustrating for them: it slows progress, slows innovation and excludes them from the digital economy. Our new service Managed LEO+ Complements our existing fiber network and provides an innovative option for safe network and high performance network. In addition, it is fully managed by Coltwhich means that companies benefit from our mission: eliminate complexity and facilitate life ».
