STAND-UP comedian Reggie Carroll has been shot dead in Mississippi with a male suspect arrested on suspicion of murder.
Carroll, 52, was gunned down in Southhaven as his family and heartbroken friends pay tribute to the self-proclaimed “Knockout King of Comedy”.

The popular Baltimore-born comedian was pronounced dead on Wednesday, the Southhaven Police Department confirmed.
Officers responded to Burton Lane after reports of a shooting as they found “one male victim suffering from gunshot wounds,” cops said.
Fellow comedian and Oscar winner Mo’Nique paid tribute to Carroll after his tragic passing.
She hailed him as a “brother in comedy,” in a touching Instagram post.
Adding: “This is why I say treat people the best you can because you never know if you’ll get a chance to see them again.
“The last time me and my brother Reggie was together. That’s what it was, an amazing time.
“Being on tour together, being on that road together, what a time, so I have no sad tears because all of our time together was amazing.”
Carroll’s brother Jonathan also said: “To all who have expressed condolences on the passing of Reggie Carroll, your love has been well received-thank you!!!”
