Commvault has announced the appointment of Sergio López Chicheri as country manager for Spain and Portugal. The executive will be responsible for directing Commvault’s strategy in the region, at a time of great growth for the company.
Sergio López Chicheri has been at Commvault for more than seven years, where he has been Director of Key Accounts for the last four. Before joining Commvault, he worked for companies specializing in data management and cybersecurity, such as Veritas and Symantec. Previously, he spent more than ten years at Hewlett-Packard, where he was in charge of the company’s business strategy with alliances for the business unit.
“Sergio’s appointment has been the logical decision after seven years in which he has stood out for his intelligence, empathy and professional value. “It has achieved and exceeded objectives by putting the customer as a priority, which has reinforced our presence in the most important organizations in the region,” says Mauro Palmigiani, area vice president for Southwest Europe at Commvault. “I am sure that he is the right person at the right time to bring our cyber resilience solution to the Iberian market.”
