Computex is one of the biggest events on the tech calendar, with a razor-sharp focus on computing gear, whether that’s laptops and PCs or peripherals and components.

We’ve made the trip to this year’s Computex 2025 to get hands-on with the latest and greatest in computing hardware, to make sense of the slew of announcements and find out exactly what’s worth paying attention to.

Here’s our definitive list of the best products available on the Computex 2025 show floor, from ultra-light laptops to new gaming handhelds and even a smart ring.

It’s Computex, so of course we have to kick things off with a laptop, and it’s Tecno’s new Megabook S14 that really caught our attention on the showfloor.

Why? For one simple reason; it’s the world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop, tipping the scales at just 899g. For context, the smaller 13-inch MacBook Air, Apple’s most portable laptop, weighs 1.24 kg, so it’s a pretty impressive offering from Tecno.

Despite its lightweight build, it offers a high-end specification, including a 120Hz-enabled 2.8K OLED screen, Intel’s Core Ultra 7 255H processor, AI smarts, and 65W fast charging capabilities.

While 144Hz was once the peak of PC gaming, screens have become much faster and more capable over the past few years – and the Asus ROG Strix ACE is the new pinnacle.

Asus has pushed display tech to its absolute limits here, with a combination of a frankly absurdly rapid 610Hz refresh rate and a 0.1ms response time that should give esports players an unmatched edge in competitive gameplay. The ultra-smooth Super TN panel measures 24.1 inches and clocks in at Full HD to further maximise the framerate.

The long-rumoured MSI Claw A8 made its official debut at Computex 2025, and while elements like pricing are yet to be confirmed, it’s easily worthy of a Best in Show award.

Why? It mainly comes down to the chipset; while the Claw A8 AI+ sports Intel’s AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme APU, the Claw A8 sports the competing AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme – the first handheld console to do so.

The new handheld also sports a more ergonomic design than its AI-infused sibling, with curved corners that sit more nicely in the palm of the hand. It’s also available in striking colours, including a fluorescent green finish.

Combined with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM, we’re expecting great things from the MSI Claw A8 – and hopefully at a more affordable price than the A8 AI+.

MSI isn’t the only manufacturer to showcase a handheld console on the Computex show floor – Zotac is also getting in on the fun with its Zone handheld prototype.

Though not ready for primetime just yet, the Zone looks to offer a similar experience to the Steam Deck, complete with dual trackpad support in addition to regular analogue sticks. In fact, it’s also similar on the software front, running Manjaro Linux OS in place of Windows 11 from the likes of the ROG Ally.

Other notable features include the use of the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and Radeon 890M graphics, a 7-inch AMOLED 1080p screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers, the latter of which are customisable, and it even sports a built-in kickstand for something akin to the Nintendo Switch’s desktop mode.

This is certainly one to watch, and we look forward to finding out more in due course.

You might have a powerful computer and responsive screen, but you’re only as good as your keyboard and mouse – and that’s where ultralight mice like the Asus ROG Harpe II Ace come in.

At just 48g, this lightweight mouse can glide across a mousepad in an instant, thanks largely in part to a unique bio-based nylon material that keeps the weight down.

But don’t let its lightweight nature fool you; it’s still a top-end mouse tailored to esports with an 8KHz polling rate-enabled ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor, optical micro switches and speedy wireless support via the ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless standard.

Gaming keyboards and ergonomic keyboards rarely cross paths, but the ROG Falcata keyboard is here to change that. Its split keyboard design is rather unique in the gaming keyboard space, and with the angled design, should provide a more ergonomic gaming experience.

It’s still relatively compact with a 75% keyboard design, and offers hot-swappable HFX V2 magnetic switches and ROG Hall Sensors, along with a multi-function button and wheel for shortcuts.

It’s also rapid with an 8KHz polling rate regardless of whether it’s used or wirelessly, making for a keyboard that’s both competitive and good for your wrist health.

It might not be the most exciting product on the Computex show floor, but ADATA’s new XPG Lancer Neo RGB DDR5 is a big deal for PC builders and gamers.

This 16GB stick is not only speedy with speeds of up to 8,000MT/s, but it’s eco-friendly with an IMR-friendly process and pretty enough with RGB-enabled lighting to be considered for your next high-end gaming PC build. What’s not to like?

Acer FreeSense Ring

Last, but by no means least, we have one of the biggest surprise reveals at Computex: the Acer FreeSense Ring.

This is essentially Acer’s response to popular smart rings like the Oura Ring 4, Samsung Galaxy Ring and Ultrahuman Ring Air, offering similar hardware to Oura’s option but without the costly monthly subscription.

Release details are yet to be confirmed, but at $199-$249, it’ll certainly be a more affordable alternative to most smart rings on the market.
