Software Director Craig Federighi has shared a photo taken with Apple Intelligence’s upcoming generative AI Image Playground feature, based on his own dog.
The pup’s name is Bailey, and Craig generated an Image Playground photo of her for her birthday. Image Playground is distributed as an app, but is also integrated into Messages, so you can type in what you want to visualize and send it to someone.
You can also choose an image from your iPhone’s photo gallery, or choose from pre-rendered examples and tell Image Playground to create an illustration, sketch, or animation from the image.

It would be interesting to compare the animated images that Image Playground creates with the Genmoji option, which allows for the creation of individual emojis on a similar principle.
