Crowdstrike has reached an agreement to Buy the Spanish Onuma company dedicated to television channel management in real time. With the purchase, Crowdstrike will enhance Falcon Next-Gen Siem, and will make it a database dedicated to the protection of Autonomous Tu operations, in addition to having autonomous detection capabilities.
Next-GG is always promoting the adoption of the Falcon platform as an operating system in the framework of security, and aims to transform the Safety Operations Centers (SOC) thanks to AI. As for Onum, it is a platform that complements the previous one, developed on its own architecture, of null state and in memory.
It offers speed, scale and efficiency to incorporate data to Falcon Next-GG Siem, in addition to offering customers control over their safety and observability data. With the combination, ONUM carries the detections driven by Falcon directly to external data sources by flow analysis. In addition, the detection begins even that the data entering the Falcon platform.
Onum handles security and observability data in real time, unlike traditional methods, which do so by lots. In addition, its intelligent filtering reduces data storage costs thanks to intelligent optimization, and flow detection before data intake also reduces response time with lower intake overload.
Until now, migrating data to the Next-GAG was always the slowest step in the transformation of a SOC, since it was often necessary to have third-party tools to do so. Onum’s purchase causes Crowdstrike to eliminate this bottleneck, and offer native data transmission and flow detection directly within the Falcon platform.
George Kurtz, CEO and founder of Crowdstrikerecalled that «Next-Gen Siem is the engine that drives the socates today, and the data are the fuel that that engine operates. Onum is both a channeling and a filter, and will directly transmit high quality data already refined to the platform to offer large -scale autonomous cybersecurity. This is how we stop intrusions at the speed of AI, while we give customers total control over all their data ecosystem, beyond even cybersecurity.
Pedro Castillo, founder and CEO of Onumhe stressed on his side that «Onum was born with the conviction that pipes must make more than transport data: they must transform them into real -time intelligence. By joining Crowdstrike, we can realize this vision on an unprecedented scale to accelerate the transformation of the SOCs globally. I am very proud of what our team has achieved by defining the management of telemetry channels in real time, and we hope to bring that innovation to the Falcon platform ».
