Zilla Securitycompany specialized in governance and identity management solutions (IGA), will now be part of Cybrarkwhich has bought it for 165 million dollars in cash, with a subsequent payment of 10 million dollars linked to the achievement of certain objectives. The Zilla template, including its founders, will become part of Cyberark.
Thanks to the incorporation of IgA’s abilities and technologies promoted by Zilla, Cyberark may expand its identity security platform with a scalable automation that speeds up the fulfillment and supply of identities in digital environments. All while maximizing safety and operational efficiency.
With this purchase, Cyberark will give a push to its strategy to improve its identity security platform, with the aim of ensuring both human identities and machines and providing them with the proper level of privilege controls.
The inherited IGA was created for local environments that depended largely on manual processes with slow deployments, which caused enough difficulties to organizations. The modern IAG, which is what Zilla uses, is specifically designed for the cloud, with business processes driven by AI and integrations prepared to use with which to achieve visibility in software applications such as service and in the cloud. In this way, the companies that use it achieve more efficiency in government and life cycle management.
Zilla built its IGA platform from scratch, with the aim of facing the difficulties posed by current digital environments, which present many SAAS applications, decentralized management and identity -based security threats.
