On April 2, during the Special Nintendo Direct dedicated to the Switch 2, we learned that the famous CyberPunk 2077 of CD Projekt Red would have the right to a reissue, on the new Nintendo console, from the launch of the latter June 5. Alas, the first returns concerning adaptation and above all, stability did not have enough to reassure us.

However, CD Projekt seems confident and ensures that the game was still in development and that it was going to be greatly improved by its release within a little less than two months. Today, the Polish studio confirms that CyberPunk 2077 will benefit from the DLSS, which, in fact, officially, the first game of the Switch 2 to see the law.

A few hours after the official announcement of CyberPunk 2077CD Projekt Red announced A game in 1080p and 30fps For the docké mode of the console. But, the first findings of Digital Foundry, based on the first trailer of the game, did not seem as enthusiastic, confirming quality falls with a game that fell at 24fps and 540p.

Faced with these first analyzes, CD Projekt Red confirmed that the game was still in development and that the latter was going to have the right to a lot of changes and improvements from here its release on June 5.

Today, the studio confirms that the portage of CyberPunk 2077 was going benefit from the DLSS. It was precisely during an interview with Digital Foundry that CD Projekt confirmed: “We use a DLSS version compatible with the equipment of the Nintendo Switch 2, exploiting the Tensor hearts of Nvidia. The game uses the DLSS in its four modes: in laptop and in Docké mode, with the performance variants and quality for each ”.

The DLSS is important for the optimization of games, allowing to have a lower resolution, but to take advantage of the upscaling system for the final image. CD Projekt confirmed that the objective was to offer two game modes for CyberPunk in Dockée version with a quality mode, allowing you to play 30 fps and a performance mode that aims at 40 fps. On the other hand, this 40 FPS mode would not be compatible only with 120 Hz TV.

Regarding resolution, CD Projekt Red aims The native 1080p On the Dockée version. In portable mode, performance mode would allow Jerene a 1080p upscale via dlss it a 30 fps For quality mode and 720p with a 120 Hz display, and 40 fps For portable version performance mode.

It seems very complicated, knowing that to date, Nintendo remains very elusive on the performance of its console. Whether it is the DLSS, the VRR, the CPU, the GPU or the 4K native (or not) resolutions, the manufacturer has still not wished to go into details, just a month and a half from the outing of the console.
