The simple trick also grants users a bonus takeaway offer.

In a post on hotukdeals.com, one fan reported the hack that dozens of streaming fans have now rushed to copy.

The user was responding to a Uber One deal on the site offering free membership.

They wrote: “Days after activating my three months free membership [of Uber One] I received an email informing me I get six months free Disney+.

“This will be account specific but for context I was an existing customer and didn’t have the Uber One membership at the time of posting (did have one in the past).”

Uber One is a subscription option that provides benefits such as savings on Eats orders and rides.

Other streaming fans were quick to join in with the discussion, with some reporting that signing up for the Uber One app comes with a 12-month free subscription and six months free streaming on Disney+.

‘Nice one …’

One person posted: “I got 12 months free UberOne and six months Disney+ free lol nice one OP.”

Another wrote: “ Definitely worth checking, didn’t think I’d be eligible as I’ve had the free trial before but I got 12 months free!!”

A third person said: “Thanks for the heads up! Had six months free on mine!”

Free Disney+ for millions of Brits with simple subscription trick

Users can purchase an Uber One membership directly in the app, by tapping ‘account’ in the lower right hand corner and following the prompts to enrol.

Membership normally costs £5.99 a month or £59.99 a year.

It’s worth keeping in mind that subscriptions renew automatically.

Uber One members pay no delivery fees for Eats orders over £15, free delivery for grocery orders over £25, and service fee discounts of up to 60 per cent on qualifying orders.

Other freebies

Sky customers can also bag loads of freebies this month.

If you’re forking out for monthly Sky TV or broadband bills then there are some perks you absolutely shouldn’t ignore.

For example, if you have a Sky Cinema subscription, you can claim Paramount+ free of charge.

The plan makes you eligible for a Paramount+ Basic with Ads membership – no matter if you’re using Sky Glass, Sky Stream or Sky Q.

This plan usually costs £4.99 a month, or £59.88 over the course of a year.

If you’re paying for Sky Cinema, you can get two free Vue tickets every month.

They’re valid for any Sunday to Thursday screening across the UK.

Sky also includes Netflix with its Essential TV and Ultimate TV packages.
