Dreame, best known for its vacuums and smart home tech, is officially tuning into the audio scene.

The company has launched its first soundbars, the Dreame Pano S1 and Pano S2, both featuring Dolby Atmos and some seriously punchy output power.

The move marks a big step for the brand, which has built its reputation on smart home gadgets. Now, with the S1 and S2, Dreame is clearly aiming to bring that same mix of sleek design and engineering flair to home entertainment.

The Pano S1 is the more accessible of the two, priced at ¥2,199, which is around $309. It’s a 3.1.2-channel setup that pushes 500W of total power through nine speaker drivers and a 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer.

You get upward-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos, plus three sound modes: Music, Cinema, and Game to tailor the audio to your mood. Dreame says it used plant-fibre composite diaphragms and silk-dome tweeters to refine clarity and texture.

If you want something beefier, the Pano S2 takes things up a notch. The flagship model is a 5.1.2-channel system boasting 12 speaker drivers, a larger 8-inch wireless subwoofer, and two independent rear speakers for proper surround sound. Output jumps to 630W, and you still get Atmos, Bluetooth 5.4, and the same trio of sound modes. It also adds HDMI 2.1 (eARC/ARC) for high-bandwidth audio, plus an Obsidian Black finish that looks every bit as premium as its ¥4,098 which is around $576 price tag.

In short, Dreame’s new Pano series, with its Dolby Atmos support, contemporary connectivity, and elegant design, could make the company’s transition from vacuum motors to subwoofers surprisingly seamless.

Whether these soundbars make it to the UK remains to be seen, as does whether they’ll make an appearance in our best soundbars list.
