Halloween is almost upon us, so what better way to celebrate than with a new season of AMC’s surprisingly good gothic horror series Interview With the Vampire? The second season earned universal critical acclaim, and for good reason: It’s brilliantly cast, atmospheric, and ambitious. The show skips through time to examine lust, morality, and memory.

Love Is Blind: Season 9 (Oct. 1)
There’s nothing wrong with a guilty pleasure, and Love is Blind may be the guiltiest of them all. Netflix’s smash dating show takes men and women and isolates them in pods where they can speak to each other but not see each other. They have to build emotional connections, knowing that they can only see each other’s faces when they propose marriage. Then they have to live together for three weeks to see just how horrible a mistake they’ve made.
Dudes (Oct. 2)
As a man in my 40s, the new German comedy series Dudes hits me right in the feelings. Four close friends, Ulf, Cem, Erik, and Andi, realize that they’re no longer at the top of the food chain and need to do something about it. Unfortunately, their efforts to recapture their masculinity end up backfiring in ridiculous ways.
