EHE Ventures has launched a £15m growth fund targeting AI-first companies.
The S/EIS AI Growth Fund will invest in early-stage companies that are “redefining traditional industries through AI innovation.”
As part of the offering, EHE will provide founders with a “comprehensive venture studio experience” through a partnership with its sister company, The Startup Factory. This means offering technical construction expertise and guidance from ‘seasoned entrepreneurs’.
EHE stated that the AI fund had an investment target of £15 million over the next three years and would seek to support UK-based companies at the pre-seed, seed and Series A stages.
It expected the fund’s first close to take place in the coming weeks and plans to invest in six to eight AI companies each year.
The Manchester group has also confirmed that the core fund advisory team will be led by co-founders and general partners Guy Remond and Gary Fletcher, supported by:
Andy Grove, Non-Executive Chairman;
Neil Vose, venture partner;
Jack Worne, Venture Associate and Head of Investor Relations;
Pete Evison, director of operations;
Elliot Smith & Ross Faith, co-investment directors;
Simon Landi, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO);
Aleksa Vukotic, Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
