Small and medium sized enterprises are fundamental to the American economy, yet many face mounting pressure from rising operational costs, unpredictable market shifts, and a persistent struggle to retain leadership talent. Representing nearly all U.S. businesses and employing almost half of the private sector workforce, these organizations are critical to economic resilience. Still, approximately half fail within their first five years. The statistics underscore a larger structural challenge. While SMEs drive innovation and job creation, they often lack access to the kind of tailored high impact management strategies enjoyed by larger corporations.

Into this landscape enters a new initiative led by Brazilian business strategist Vitor Novaes, whose extensive experience in organizational transformation and operational leadership is behind the soon to launch Eleveolevel LLC. Based in Florida, the consultancy aims to address key vulnerabilities undermining SME longevity and success in the United States. Through a comprehensive approach to strategic management, leadership development, and operational optimization, the firm is expected to support entrepreneurs and executives navigating increasingly complex business environments.

Novaes brings more than a decade of leadership experience across sectors such as agribusiness, construction, and professional development. He has served as chief operating officer of one of Brazil’s leading poultry operations and co founded a consultancy platform focused on leadership mentoring. Known for introducing KPI driven systems and balanced scorecard methodologies in multimillion dollar operations, he now looks to channel that expertise into the U.S. market. His goal is to equip growing businesses with the tools and mindsets required for sustainable performance in an unpredictable economy.

“It is not just about helping companies operate more efficiently,” Novaes said. “It is about creating lasting capabilities, helping leaders make better decisions, engage their teams, and build resilience into their organizations.”

Eleveolevel, which will begin operations soon, is designed to support companies that often fall into a strategic blind spot, too large for generalist coaching yet too small to attract enterprise level consulting services. The firm will offer integrated consulting engagements focusing on areas such as cost control, organizational design, cultural alignment, and leadership mentoring. Its methodology draws on agile management principles and is expected to emphasize knowledge transfer, ensuring that clients can internalize and sustain improvements beyond the engagement period.

What makes the effort particularly timely is the anticipated consulting labor shortage in the United States. According to projections, demographic shifts and a growing demand for digital and strategic expertise will leave many firms understaffed. By developing in house talent through training and mentorship, and embedding education into client engagements, Eleveolevel aims to fill part of that gap both within its own ranks and across its client base.

The firm’s long term impact is positioned to extend beyond individual clients. By enhancing leadership pipelines, improving cost structures, and helping companies align their missions with performance metrics, the company will contribute to broader goals of economic stability and competitiveness. With American productivity growth having slowed in recent years and leadership disengagement on the rise, initiatives like Eleveolevel’s promise to play a vital role in reenergizing the backbone of the national economy.

Novaes sees this project not as an expansion of his consulting work but as a continuation of a career long mission to promote excellence in management. “Leadership is not just a role. It is a culture. My aim is to build that culture into the DNA of the businesses we work with,” he said.

In a moment when SMEs are expected to do more with less, and when the consulting industry itself faces growing pains, Eleveolevel’s entry into the market reflects both a challenge and an opportunity. By translating years of executive leadership and proven operational models into practical and accessible consulting for American businesses, Novaes hopes to influence not only client outcomes but the standards of leadership and strategy across the U.S. SME landscape.
