Embedded agent platform Mindset AI has raised £4.3m to fuel an expansion into the US.
Founded in 2019, the company works with software businesses to integrate AI agents into operations and product lines.
Currently worth an estimated $5.1bn, analysts have projected the AI agent market to be as valuable as $47.1bn globally by 2030 as more and more services embed pre-built chatbots.
“As AI evolves, so does the gap between businesses adopting it and those being left behind,” said Mindset AI co-founder and CEO Barrie Hadfield.
“AI talent is in short supply, and costs are high. Companies need solutions that let them deploy AI agents without heavy investment in AI teams or long development cycles.
Based in North London, Mindset AI said the capital injection would support its growth within the UK as well as support the launch of a US office in Chicago.
The expansion decision comes following a 120% increase in year-on-year revenue, reaching £1m for 2024.
The funding round was jointly led by Pembroke VCT and Edge VC.
“Mindset AI is redefining how learning and development businesses present and monetise their content through AI-powered conversational agents,” said Fred Ursell, investment director at Pembroke.
“Mindset AI has the potential to transform the way enterprises leverage their content, and we look forward to supporting their journey.”
Additional participation came from Mountside Ventures and existing investors. Previous backers of the company include Mercia and a handful of angels.
