How do after-Christmas mattress sales compare to Black Friday?
For the most part, the discounts we see after Christmas aren’t as strong as what we saw during Black Friday (or most other major holidays), for that matter. However, there are a few brands that are bringing back their Black Friday offers for the end of the year — Bear, Helix, and Eight Sleep, to name a few.

It has a tough act to follow with Black Friday, but post-Christmas is still a good time to buy a mattress.
You might not be able to avail of the same low prices we spotted at the end of November, but most retailers will be rolling out discounts as we head into the New Year. That said, Presidents’ Day may be a better bet if you want to bring home a mattress at or very close to its lowest price in the last 12 months.
Meanwhile, if you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), the after-Christmas sales are an excellent way to use those up before they expire at the end of the year. You can apply FSA funds towards eligible smart beds, memory foam mattresses, and hybrid models.
