What if the research guiding your biggest decisions was flawed—outdated, incomplete, or biased? In today’s fast-moving world, enterprises rely on market insights, track competitors’ websites, and forecast trends to stay ahead. But traditional research methods are slow, manual, and riddled with inefficiencies—leading to missed opportunities, costly mistakes, and reactive decision-making.

Takahiro Morinaga and Gagandeep Tomar built Steve AI to eliminate these bottlenecks. Instead of spending days compiling data, enterprises can now get real-time insights in minutes—allowing them to move faster, outthink competitors, and make smarter business decisions.

So, why is Steve changing the game for enterprise research?

Let’s break it down.

Meet the Minds Behind Steve AI

Tomar Takahiro Morinaga built his career by solving inefficiencies with data and turning complex challenges into streamlined solutions. After earning a degree in commerce from Waseda University, he pursued further studies in international business in Seattle, gaining a global perspective on market dynamics.

His career took off at Amazon Japan, where he worked as a Brand Specialist, helping global brands break into a highly competitive market. He played a key role in product positioning, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting, ensuring brands could successfully scale in Japan.

He led one of Amazon Japan’s most significant product launches in the toy category—the Demon Slayer limited-edition line, one of the top-selling SKUs in the toy category. Managing end-to-end execution, he navigated supply chain logistics, marketing rollouts, and customer demand spikes, contributing to its record-breaking success.

Recognizing that enterprises were still relying on slow, outdated research methods, Morinaga saw AI as the missing link. He later co-founded Trissino Inc., where he now leads the strategic vision behind Steve, shaping the future of enterprise research with real-time, AI-driven insights.

Gagandeep Tomar is an AI and automation specialist with extensive experience in machine learning, business intelligence, and data analytics. After graduating from IIT Mandi with a degree in computer science, he worked at Apple and MoneyForward, where he developed AI-powered automation tools for enterprise applications.

At MoneyForward, Tomar led AI initiatives that:

  • Automated data queries with an accuracy rate of 99.57%
  • Won multiple AI innovation competitions, including the Tech Buildathon 2024 and AI Hackathon 2023

As Co-founder and CTO of Trissino Inc., he designed Steve AI’s advanced AI-driven research capabilities, making it one of the most potent research automation tools in the market today.
