When there is no more, there is still some. This Saturday, November 23, the series Arcane broadcast the last three episodes of its final season. The journey ends a little abruptly after a final rush that is tense to say the least, but the succession is already underway. Riot Games has no plans to stop the machine in such good shape. Barely a day after the grand finale, the co-creator of the adaptation Christian Linke has already taken care to make new revelations: enough to strike while the iron is still hot. Fortiche will not reconsider his decision, Arcane is well and truly finished.
Fans can nevertheless look forward to discovering three new projects. Guest on Twitch show Unwritten – a content creator specializing in the lore of League of Legends – Linke did not hesitate to reveal the existence of new adaptations. New programs are already in development at the French animation studio, which will therefore have little time to rest. After this first exploration, the showrunner ofArcane intends to tackle new lands of Runeterra, the vast world imagined by the Riot Games teams.
One series per nation
If you are not familiar with the world of League of Legendsknow that there are still a whole bunch of regions to discover on our screens. The conflict between Piltover and Zaun highlighted in Arcane is just one facet of a larger lore. The characters in the online game, also called Champions, all have their own stories and live in different parts of the world called Runeterra. On Netflix, viewers were also able to discover the warrior nation of Noxus, represented by Ambessa Medarda, Mel’s mother. This already makes three important elements of this universe: but this is only the beginning.
Christian Linke reveals that he is interested in “most mentioned regions” on social networks. To meet the interest of spectators, future series inspired by League of Legends will therefore take us to Noxus, Demacia and Ionia. The detour to Noxus seems obvious, since Mel sets off for his homeland at the end ofArcane and that this character still has many surprises in store for us. Will the young woman try to change the mentalities of this country consumed by ambition and war? Faced with hotheads like Darius and Draven, nothing is less certain.

If the idea of a series even darker than the previous one doesn’t appeal to you, you will certainly be won over by the magic of Ionia. One of the programs will take place in these mystical lands, which are home to some of the most popular Champions like Ahri, Akali and Yasuo. The third and final region revealed by Christian Linke is none other than that of Demacia. This prosperous kingdom relies on notions much purer than Noxus, such as honor and justice, making it the extreme opposite of the nation of Ambessa and Mel. For this series, it’s a safe bet that Garen, Lux or even Fiora will be essential characters in the story.
But since it took three years for Fortiche to give birth to season 2 ofArcanewe will have to wait at least as long before we can discover one of these projects on our screens. See you in 2026 at the earliest!
