F5 has announced the launch of its platform Application Delivery and Security PlatformnailsApplication delivery controller (ADC) which brings together high performance load and traffic management with advanced application safety capacities and API. With it, F5 has developed a new generation of ADC, designed to meet the demands of AI -promoted applications.
This platform, specifically designed for companies that work with multicloud hybrid infrastructure, includes complete delivery and safety for each application on a single platform, which simplifies the management of IT and security equipment. In addition, it can be implemented at any point and factor so that it works without problems in current IT environments.
This solution offers a unique policy and a unified management in all locations to reduce complexity and improve efficiency, as well as enriched and relevant analysis and information, focused on improving performance and strengthening the safety of complex applications.
In addition, it has completely programmable data plans, which allow automated implementation and personalized use of functions, so that organizations can adapt to their needs at all times. It also allows the complete automation of the life cycle.
The platform is promoted by APIS, and allows consistent policies for each application, in each environment and form factor. It works with high performance hardware in local data centers, latest generation software in virtualized and hybrid environments and software as a service (SAAS) for cloud native environments.
F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform therefore reunerates the solutions that allow to address critical needs, such as high -performance load balancing, multicloud networks, the complete security of API and web applications, and Gateway AI’s capabilities.
The company has also integrated several solutions on the platform that allow AI to simplify and expedite operations, as well as to strengthen safety positions for each application. Among them is F5 AI Gateway, available in general to optimize relationships between applications, API and large language models.
It is a solution in containers that optimizes performance, observability and protection, which leads to an improvement in the quality of data output, facilitating the adoption of AI services and improving the user experience.
Another of the new solutions that F5 has integrated into the platform is an IA assistant for F5 NGINX One. Promoted by F5 AI Data Fabric, it works as an assistant for platform operations equipment, Netops, Secops and Devops. It uses a natural language interface to optimize operations and delivery of applications, address threats and identify anomalies before they affect production.
Throughout this year, an AI assistant will also be incorporated into the system for the generation and explanation of the F5 Big-IP and Irules code, with the aim of expanding the automation and intelligence capabilities of Iules.
