OPPO has not only brought the Find range back to Europe, but the Chinese firm has taken the opportunity to renew its family of tablets with the OPPO Pad 3 Pro. This device, which was presented in China a few days ago, has made the leap to global market with a clear objective: to conquer the podium of high-end tablets based on power, screen and battery.

A familiar design. The OPPO Pad 3 Pro has that typical design that OPPO has us accustomed to. It is heavier and larger than the OPPO Pad 2, but the difference in aesthetic terms is not much. The screen, which grows by about an inch, continues to retain that more square format that already drops the target audience: productivity, work on the move and creativity. It also doubles the OPPO Pad 2’s speakers, mounting eight instead of four.
And speaking of the screen. The tablet incorporates a 12.1-inch LCD/LTPS panel (OPPO has not yet dared to use OLED in this product segment) with “3K” resolution (3,000 x 2,120 pixels, really). That translates to just over 300 pixels per inch. The brightness reaches 900 nits, although the most normal figure will be 00 nits. It has 144 Hz refresh rate, up to 540 Hz touch sampling rate and is compatible with Dolby Vision. It doesn’t look bad.
Qualcomm Engine. If we take a look under the hood we will see that OPPO has not skimped on power. The Chinese firm has opted for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead of a MediaTek, as we saw in past generations. It is accompanied by 12 GB of LPPDR5x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, so it is not that the tablet falls short of raw power.

The operating system is Android 14 with ColorOS 14.1, although the update to Android 15 is guaranteed. The battery, for its part, amounts to 9,510 mAh with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. According to OPPO, the tablet is capable of offering up to 12 hours of continuous video playback.
With AI, of course. Not a single device without AI, there would be more to go. OPPO has spiced up its new tablet with AI Toolbox, the suite of generative artificial intelligence tools. Among the available options are AI summaries, the writing assistant and AI Speak, a kind of voice reader for articles, for example. There are also photo editing options
Connectivity and extras. As a high-end tablet that it is, the OPPO Pad 3 Pro is compatible with WiFi 7 (ergo, all previous versions), Bluetooth 5.4 and USB type C. As a fact to consider, it also supports the LDHC codec, which is used to stream music in high quality wirelessly. For this we will need OPPO or OnePlus headphones.
Versions and price of the OPPO Pad 3 Pro
The OPPO Pad 3 Pro will be available outside China for 599.99 euros. From Xaaka we have contacted OPPO and at the moment there is no information about its availability in Spain, but we will be waiting to update this article as soon as its launch is confirmed.
