Final is closing out 2025 with a pair of new releases, led by the VR3000 EX — a wireless gaming headset built specifically for players who treat audio as part of their competitive toolkit.

It arrives as the next step in the company’s VR3000 line, but this new EX model pushes further on spatial precision, latency, and long-haul comfort.

At the centre of the upgrade is an expanded 3D soundstage designed to make directional cues feel more natural and more immediate. Final says its 3D Extra Wide Sound Stage tech recreates sound placement exactly as developers intended, giving players clearer insight into what’s happening above, below, or just behind them.

A dedicated Footstep Mode builds on that, subtly lifting close-range audio so FPS players can judge distance and direction without the muddy boosts that some gaming headsets rely on.

Latency is another area where Final is aiming for an edge. The VR3000 EX ships with a USB-A ultra-low-latency transceiver that brings wireless delay down to under 20ms, rivalling what you’d typically expect from a setup.

It works natively with PS5, the Nintendo Switch Dock, and PC, although Xbox support isn’t available. USB-C–only devices will need an adapter, but the included mixer support on PC should help keep game and chat audio balanced.

The ergonomic redesign is more subtle but just as important. Final has reworked the weight distribution and headband tension to reduce fatigue over long sessions, while the Multi-Fit Housing adjusts freely to sit comfortably on different head shapes.

The breathable mesh headband and the retractable boom mic round out the hardware tweaks, with the latter sliding away neatly when you’re off comms.

Battery life hits up to 55 hours, and the companion app adds a 10-band EQ, toggles for Footstep Mode, and profiles for different games or listening environments. The tuning itself leans on Final’s VR3000 heritage, focusing on clean, realistic reproduction rather than aggressive frequency boosts — something fans of the original model will likely appreciate.

The Final VR3000 EX is priced at $149.99 / €129.99 / £99.99 and is available starting 12 December 2025 through Amazon and selected retailers worldwide.

If you want your next earbuds to double as a competitive advantage, Final’s latest entry might land right on cue for the holidays.
