Huntington is offering new customers an enticing signing bonus.
Small business owners are urged to follow the three exact steps before the June 9 cutoff to secure their free money.
The promotion applies to new customers who open an Unlimited Plus Business Checking account by June 9, 2025.
To qualify, applicants must make a cumulative new money deposit of at least $20,000 into their new account within 30 days of opening.
After meeting the deposit requirement, account holders must maintain a minimum daily balance of $20,000 for 60 days.
The account must remain open for at least 90 days for the bonus payment to be processed.
Once all requirements are satisfied, Huntington will deposit the $1,000 bonus within 14 days.
Business owners must first open the relevant checking account to access the bonus.
They then should adequately fund the account by depositing enough money to qualify which is detailed in the promotion disclosures.
The direct bonus payment will then be paid within 14 days.
Huntington has streamlined the process by sending a promotion code via email once customers click the Apply button on the offer page.
Applicants must be new to Huntington’s business checking product; existing account holders are excluded.
The Unlimited Plus Business Checking account includes unlimited monthly transactions.
It also offers up to $25,000 in free monthly cash and coin deposits.

Monthly maintenance fees of $40 can be waived by maintaining a total deposit relationship balance of $50,000 or by linking a qualifying personal checking account.
“New money” is defined as funds not currently on deposit at Huntington, excluding maturing business CDs.
The promotion is available only to residents of certain states, including Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Customers in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and West Virginia are also eligible.
Business owners must click the specific Apply buttons on the promotions page to ensure their bonus code is applied.
Huntington emphasizes that transfers from existing accounts do not count toward the deposit requirement.
“This offer cannot be used in combination with any other checking offer,” the bank’s disclosures state.
Applicants will receive a 1099‑INT form for tax purposes reporting the bonus payment.
It is not the only bank offering free money to customers with those who bank with chase being offered up to $3,000.
This deal is only available until July 16 and SoFi is offering a one-time payment of up to $300 this month.
