HARLEY-Davidson has unveiled their first new model for 2025, and fans of the iconic bike-maker will be thrilled with its retro design.
The new Street Glide is set to be released this year and will be available with a classic finish that hasn’t been offered for many years.
The new model can be purchased with a Firestorm Paint finish, which was the brand’s factory paint for the 1980 Wide Glide and was later reprised on the 2012 model.
Now, some 13 years on, it’s making a comeback on the upcoming Street Glide.
Available in either Whiskey Firestorm or Midnight Firestorm, each option will command a premium price due to its exclusivity.
According to Ultimate Motorcycling, riders will have to pay $2,900, with an additional $1,350 for the Black Trim option – as the Firestorm paint is not available with the standard Chrome Trim.
Also available on the 2025 Street Glide is a new Mystic Shift treatment.
Speaking to Ultimate Motorcycling, a source at Harley-Davidson said: “Mystic Shift offers a dramatic hue shift which transitions from a dark gunmetal to purple to blue to almost orange and is especially apparent in full sunlight when walking around the motorcycle.”
Mystic Shift is a $2,200 option and is available with both the Chrome and Black Trims.
In total, the 2025 Street Glide will offer nine colour options with the Black Trim and six with the Chrome Trim.
Functionally, the bike remains unchanged, with the 2024 Street Glide being the most significant upgrade to the model since its introduction in 2006.
Last month, Sun Motors revealed that the longest-running family-owned Harley-Davidson dealership in the US had been sold.
After over 70 years of successful business, the Harley-loving owners decided to hand down their legacy to a dealership group as they plan to retire.
This comes as the US firm could be giving one of its most beloved accessories a makeover, leaving fans excited to see what the brand’s new year lineup will look like.
The motorbike company reportedly filed a patent for the new design in Europe, showing a new Tour-Pak luggage design for touring bikes like the Road Glide and Street Glide.
Tour-Paks are attachable storage containers with water-tight latches that bikers can use to pack essentials for longer rides.
Though they’ve been an essential addition to Harley bikes, the brand hasn’t updated the design in a decade, so riders are ready for a change.
According to the new patent, these proposed designs would have a new top box that can divide two layers of storage.
Elsewhere, car fans were left fuming after concept images of a design for a classic Lamborghini were released by a famous tuning house.
Widely considered one of the finest sports cars ever created, the much-loved Miura combines a mixture of class, style and speed.
However, Liberty Walk, a well-respected Japanese tuning company that specializes in creating wide-body kits, has recently unveiled a design for the Italian coupe that hasn’t gone down particularly well with passionate gearheads.
