AMAZON Prime Big Deals Day is finally here with hundreds of savings – including a bunch of price cuts on top notch tech.

But with so many offers it can be hard to tell what’s a hit and what’s not worth it.

As The Sun’s Assistant Technology and Science Editor I’ve spent years getting hands-on with the best and worst gadgets so you don’t have to.

Having scoured this year’s Prime Big Deals Day there are definitely some great bargains to be had.

There are many under £100 and big savings on others, including £45 off an Apple favourite.

Don’t forget, to snap up these deals you’ll need to be a Prime member.

And the event is only around for a limited time, from today until tomorrow (October 8).

Here are my top picks…

Tech Deal #1 – Blink camera bundle

Now £60.49 (was £184.98)

Most people turn to Ring when it comes to video doorbells and security cameras.

But there are rivals – including another brand Amazon also owns, called Blink.

And this particular bundle saves a stonking £124.49 compared to normal.

It includes a wireless Blink doorbell camera as well as two separate security cameras you can dot anywhere around the home.

I’ve used Blink before and it’s a great alternative that does the job just as well as Ring.

What’s particularly good is you don’t need to recharge a custom battery, instead it relies on two AAs – and they can last up to two years.

And unlike Ring, there’s an alternative to paying for cloud for video storage too in the form of a Sync Module – though you have to buy that separately.

Tech Deal #2 – iPad 11-inch (A16) 2025

Now £284 (was £329)

Apple rarely runs deals on its products, so getting £45 off is worth bagging if you’ve been waiting for a price drop on iPads.

When it comes to tablets iPads are among the best around.

This particular model was announced back in March, with a faster A16 chip and an 11-inch display.

It also comes with 128GB of storage too.

If you want more space, you can pay £379.50 instead of £429 for the 256GB edition of this iPad or £560 instead of £629 for the 512GB edition, both as part of the Prime deals.

Tech Deal #3 – UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 20000mAh

Now £49.99 (was £69.99)

If you’re looking for a super new power bank that’ll sort out multiple gadgets, this UGREEN Nexode device is worth considering.

It can store 20,000mAh – that’s the equivalent of just under four iPhone 17 Pro Max handset batteries.

And better still, it supports 130W Super Fast Charging so you can power-up devices mega quick, and not just phones but laptops too.

You can recharge up to three gadgets at once, so it’s ideal for travel with friends.

There’s even a digital display to keep track of everything.

Tech Deal #4 – Toshiba TV

Now £199.99 (was £239.87)

If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful new TV, this Toshiba deal is worth a look at.

It runs on Amazon’s Fire TV system so it looks much like the Fire Stick interface.

You can also use Alexa through it.

Although it’s a Fire TV you can still access other apps like Netflix and Disney+.

It has a QLED 4K display, coming in at 50 inches.

This TV has 17 per cent off through the Prime Big Deal Days offer.

Tech Deal #5 – Eufy Weighing Scales

Now £12.99 (was £29.99)

Smart weighing scales are a great way to keep track of your weight loss journey.

Eufy’s weight scales use Bluetooth to sync all the essential data to your mobile.

It also tracks 12 key insights, including weight, body fat %, bone and muscle mass, and more.

And you can create up to 16 profiles as well so everyone in your household can track their own health data.
