The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued several recall actions last week, including notifications for more than 120,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

If the car is not mentioned below, owners can check the Automotive Recall database of USA Today whether the NHTSA database are searching for new recall actions. Fords, Lincolns remembered for potentially brake fluid leakage

The American flag flaps in the wind at Village Ford in Dearborn on Wednesday 27 May 2020.

Ford Motor Company has recalled certain 2017 to 2018 Ford F-150, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles, because they may have a brake head cylinder with which brake fluid can leak.

The recalled vehicles are equipped with 3.5L EcoBoost engines, according to the recall report.

Dealers must replace the brake head cylinder and, if the main cylinder leaks, replace the brake booster. Reporting letters must be sent on April 28.

Affected vehicles: 123,611

Ford remembers Expeditions for Software Fout

Ford has recalled certain 2025 explorers, because the powertrain control module can be reset while driving. If a reset occurs, the park system of the vehicle can be damaged and the engine can get stuck.

Affected vehicles are equipped with 2.3L engines and built from 6 December 2023 to 6 September 2025, according to the recall report.

Dealers will update the PowerTrain Control Software for free and reporting letters must be emailed on 26 May.

Alfa Romeos, Dodges recalled for defective rear-view camera displays

Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, recalled certain 2023 to 2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet vehicles, because they may look back camera actions that do not display the feed from the camera.

The recall report says that the vehicles were built with the defect, but does not describe what causes the display to fail.

Dealers must update the software or replace the radio for free, and reporting letters from the owner must be sent on 4 June.

Affected vehicles: 48,494

Dodge Rams reminded the tire pressure error

Certain 2025 RAM 1500 vehicles are also called, because a software error can cause that the instrument display reflects incorrect tire pressure information.

The panel can “blow up to: 50” PSI message, instead of the recommended inflation pressure, according to the recall report. Drivers who follow this message can lead to a tire being blown up beyond the maximum pressure limit.

Dealers must update the instrument panel software for free and reporting letters must be emailed on 8 May.

Affected vehicles: 10,396

Volkswagen calling certain vehicles for incorrect braking warning system light

Volkswagen remembered a certain ID of 2025. Buzz vehicles that may have an incorrect warning light.

The warning light of the braking system on the instrument panel can be the incorrect symbol and the color in the recalled vehicles.
