Ant Group CEO and President Han Xinyi announced in an internal email yesterday that Liu Zheng, former CFO of Cainiao Group, has joined Ant Group as CFO, effective immediately. Liu will oversee the company’s financial management and report directly to Han. Liu joined Alibaba Group in 2010, where he was responsible for the finance operations of various business units, including Alibaba International, Taobao, and Cainiao Logistics. From February 2016 to January 2025, Liu served as executive director and CFO of Cainiao Group. Han, who became Ant Group’s CFO in April 2020, was promoted to president in March 2024 and has continued to serve as CFO to this day. According to Alibaba’s fiscal year 2025 interim report, during the six months ended September 30, 2024, dividends received from Ant Group amounted to RMB 2,630 million ($375 million).
