While co-running Thecuriostory, a platform celebrating India’s skilled artisans, Priyanka Roychowdhury found herself constantly juggling two things — her passion for handmade stories, and the pressure of presenting them professionally.
Cataloging local treasures from Dakshin Karnataka to Bengal wasn’t easy. Every piece had a story, a soul, and needed to be shown in a way that did it justice. But the tools? Clunky. Time-consuming. Overly technical. Crafting a PowerPoint for each artifact often took hours.
“I wasn’t looking to build a tech startup,” Priyanka says. “I just needed to save time. But not at the cost of creativity.”
