Fwupd 2.0.14 Brings New Framework & SteelSeries Hardware Support

Fwupd 2.0.14 is out today as the newest version of this open-source firmware updating utility that is widely-used on Linux systems for BIOS/system firmware updates as well as an ever increasing array of different peripheral devices.

With Fwupd 2.0.14 there is yet more hardware supported by this firmware updating solution. Fwupd 2.0.14 ships new support for firmware updates on Egis MoC devices, Framework QMK devices, ILITEK touch controllers, and the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3P headset.

Framework 16 keyboard

The new Framework QMK plug-in is initially for handling updating of keyboard device firmware on the Framework Laptop 16.

Fwupd 2.0.14 also adds support for building on RHEL 9 and RHEL 10, allow plug-ins to know the firmware version during update, and a variety of different bug fixes.
