Te’o will replace Akbar Gbajabiamila who was last seen on GMFB back in February.
Gbajabiamila took over from Jason McCourty last year but has left the show after just one season.
And the NFL Network team have wasted no time in replacing him.
Te’o has appeared throughout the 12 months as an occasional guest on GMFB.
He was also an analyst for Netflix’s NFL Christmas Day doubleheader last season alongside Mina Kimes and Robert Griffin III.
Te’o will now join the morning show full time, according to Front Office Sports.
The former Notre Dame star played for the Chargers, Saints, and Bears in the NFL.
Te’o’s arrival continues a turbulent period for GMFB.
The show relocated to the West Coast last year from its previous base in New York.
Gbajabiamila was named on a new-look panel alongside Peter Schrager, Kyle Brandt, and host Jamie Erdahl.
The ex-NFL star was tasked with filling in for McCourty after he left for ESPN.
But now Brandt is the only member of the original cast still standing.
Schrager, who had hosted Good Morning Football since its inception, recently joined McCourty at ESPN.
Gbajabiamila was enjoying his second stint on the show after initially appearing between 2012 and 2019.

Te’o shot to worldwide attention in 2022, after a Netflix documentary exploring his relationship with someone claiming to be called Lennay Kekua.
The doc, entitled Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist, explored the hoax relationship.
In December 2012, the then-college football star claimed his girlfriend had died.
It later emerged that Te’o had been the victim of catfishing and that Lennay had never actually existed.
