With a little over two weeks until the announcement, a new Pixel 10 “Soon” teaser from Google heavily needles how Apple hasn’t been able to ship the Siri AI upgrades for the iPhone 16.

The 30-second “Google Pixel 10 | Soon” teaser uploaded on Monday to the Made by Google YouTube channel is set to an instrumental version of “The Next Episode” by Dr. Dre. Apple of course acquired Beats by Dr. Dre in another dig.

As the narration plays, we see stylized shots of the Pixel 10 Pro in Moonstone.

But, it’s been coming soon for a full year…

You could change your definition of soon.

Or you could just…

change your phone.

This Pixel 10 ad is referencing how Apple announced a big AI Siri upgrade at WWDC 2024. At the iPhone 16 announcement last September, Apple said the new phone would get those features. Personal context capabilities would tap into your information and make them available as needed, while onscreen awareness would allow Siri to take action with what’s being displayed. The upgraded AI-powered assistant would also be able to take in-app actions. These updates have since been delayed into 2026.

The goal is to get people to switch to the upcoming phone with many of those AI capabilities already available across Gemini.

The ending tagline is “Ask more of your phone” (which previously leaked), with Google likely using that throughout the life of the Pixel 10. We then get a full shot of the phone, with a hand grabbing it and the 8.20.25 event date appearing. The final frame is the gradient ‘G’ logo and GoogleStore.com.
