Google Pixel 9a may make a debut in the global market in 2025. We have seen leaks related to the specifications and features of the phone in the past few months. In a recent development, an X user has taken two photos of the smartphone showing us what we can expect in terms of design. The device could come with an oval-shaped camera island at the rear panel without any metal visor that was seen in other variants like Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.
Google Pixel 9a leaks
The images related to Google Pixel 9a were shared by a user named fenibook on X.com (formerly Twitter). We can see the G logo in the middle of the device’s rear panel. Nonetheless, the logo looks entirely distinct from other variants of the series. And this scenario has also been witnessed in the past. Most of the leaked images of Google devices before the launch carry different variations of the logo.
The Google Pixel 9a image suggests that the rear camera of the device will not have a protruding metallic border. Furthermore, the smartphone will have a horizontal dual rear sensor placed on the left side of the device and the LED flash will be located on the right.
And the second image shared the front side of the smartphone. The display of the handset will bring a punch hole cutout for the placement of the front camera. And the handset may also feature a 48MP primary sensor in the dual rear camera setup. The images also show that it will come with thick bezels similar to its predecessor.
In the past, rumors have suggested that the smartphone will be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor, the same chipset that we saw in Google Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro. It can also include an 8GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage.
