Google Play Games is finally expanding its library by including more PC games along with enhanced experience on both smartphones and PC. The latest update of the same brings exclusive rewards and improved gameplay. It will get some popular titles like Remember of Majesty, Journey of Monarch, and Genshin Impact. Apart from that, Google Play Games will also bring new games like Odin: Valhalla Rising, Sonic Rumble, and Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.
Google also stated that mobile developers will be able to bring the games to PC without any issues. Games like Pet Shop Fever: Animal Hotel and Train Sim, and a plethora of others are now available to play on Google Play Games for PC. The entire PC catalog will be available on AMD laptops and desktops.
Starting from March 2025, PC games like TABS Mobile and DREDGE are also coming to Android via Google Play. And in the second half of the year, we will also get a Disco Elysium on the platform. These games will be specially optimized for mobile so that the users can get unmatchable and super smooth performance.
In addition, Vice President and General Manager of Games on Google Play, Aurash Mahbod, has suggested that getting Play Points on the platform will be easier as compared to previous methods. The feature will be out next few weeks and the Play Points can be used on PC and Mobile both.
Players can then use the Play Points to get discounts, in-game accessories, and a lot more. As for availability, the expanded PC game catalog will be rolling out for the masses in March 2025. And the other tools will be rolled out gradually. And not to forget, that with this, Google is trying its best to make the experience highly personalized for the users.
