If you’re after a great upgrade on your current handset that still leaves plenty of room in your budget for other items, then this Pixel 9a deal is for you.

The Google Pixel 9a is one of those incredible mid-range phones that is already one of the best options under $500, but when it’s currently going for just $399 on Amazon, it’s now quite a bit cheaper than that.

Google’s three month old Pixel 9a now has a $100 saving

The Google Pixel 9a is already one of the best mid-range phones under $500, but right now it’s available on Amazon for just $399, making it an even better deal.

View Deal

Right from the get-go, the Pixel 9a does a ton of amazing things that belie its mid-range status, but where it arguably shines the most is in its superb camera setup, which, alongside Google’s incredible AI photo editing, is able to capture some truly flagship-level snaps.

Backing up this imagery is strong battery life that allows the Pixel 9a to comfortably last until the end of the working day. In fact, if you head to the phone’s Battery Saver options, you can stretch things out even further, which is incredibly handy if you think you’ll be out and about without a charging point in the vicinity.

While you might be waiting a considerable amount of time for some faster specs to arrive in the mid-range arena, the Pixel 9a is able to zip through tasks quickly thanks to the Google Tensor G4 chipset powering the phone. This makes it perfectly suited for juggling multiple apps at once, a bit of gaming and streaming content to the display.

Speaking of the display, you’re working with a 6.3-inch pOLED panel here with support for HDR, and a peak brightness level of 2700 nits which allows the Pixel 9a to really pop onscreen, serving up vibrant colours and contrast that draws you in whether you’re watching a film or scrolling through social media.

The phone also offers 128GB of storage, which is more than enough to keep several apps, games and a bit of media stored on the device without any major worry of running out.

For a phone that offers all of these features and more for a flagship rate, the Pixel 9a is an easy phone to recommend under any circumstance, but on a mid-range budget, it’s just impossible to argue with for consumers on a tighter budget who want a ton of premium features in a modern-looking handset.

Another year means another Pixel ‘a’ release – but this year’s Pixel 9a is different in a few important ways. Most notably, the Pixel 9a is the first in the series to not closely mirror the design of the flagship Pixel, ditching the camera bar for an altogether more understated look.  It also boasts

  • Best battery life of any Pixel

  • Clean, more understated look

  • Great camera performance

  • Premium AI features

  • Thick screen bezels look dated

  • No dedicated zoom lens

  • Tensor G4 not as powerful as other flagship chips

  • Slow charging
