But, bike enthusiasts will have to wait before they get their hands on the new vehicle.

Execs have confirmed that it will be available to purchase from November 2026.

Developers have been working on a Sprint bike for the past five years, as reported by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

And, it will only set riders back $6,000.

Dealerships across the US will be given a preview of the bike later this year.

Jochen Zeitz, the company’s CEO, revealed he doesn’t just want the brand to attract younger customers, but fans who are loyal.

Zeitz announced his resignation in April but is staying with the brand until a successor assumes the role.

He hopes they will stick with the brand when it comes to upgrading their vehicles.

The bike appears to pay homage to motorcycles developed during the 1960s and 1970s.

Harley-Davidson teamed up with Aermacchi to roll out a series of Sprint models.

One of the first models was the Aermacchi 250 Sprint, introduced in 1961.

The Aermacchi 350 Sprint, produced between 1969 and 1974, could reach top speeds of 90mph.

One of its features was that riders didn’t have to shift gears within a few seconds, as revealed by the Cycleworld Magazine.

Motorcycle superfans described the engine of the Sprint as something that was “incredibly well-made.”

The Sprint SX350 was produced in the 1970s and included features such as a braced handlebar and upswept exhaust.

It was powered by a 25 horsepower engine, had a four speed transmission and could reach speeds of up to 80mph.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON bosses have confirmed a new Sprint model will be coming onto the market next year. The brand teamed up with Aermacchi to roll out a series of sprint models during the 1960s and 1970s.

  • SS-350
  • SX-350
  • SS-125

When Harley Davidson’s new Sprint model enters dealerships, it will make history.

Currently, the cheapest Harley Davidson motorcycle, the 2025 Nightster, is priced at $9,999.

Riders can choose whether they want a black or chrome trim, and it comes in several colors

But, if fans select a chrome trim, then the only color available is snake venom.

Riders who select a black trim get more flexibility – with color options such as billiard gray, vivid black or whiskey fire.

The Nightster is powered by a 91 horsepower engine and has a fuel economy of 52mpg.

It has a 27-inch seat and Harley says this can help riders make flat-footed stops more confidently, and improve handling, according to its product description.

The Nightster is part of the brand’s Sportster range. These type of bikes are useful when riding in the mountains and driving through cities.

Meanwhile, riders who want to invest in a new Freewheeler or Tri Glide Ultra will have to pay more than $30,000.
