There will soon no longer be a need to travel to Japan to enjoy an immersive Naruto experience. Against all expectations, the work of Masashi Kishimoto will be established in the south of France… at Parc Spirou. The amusement park located in Provence, near Avignon, unveiled this improbable collaboration last October. The first details of this strange project then made the promise of a reproduction of the mythical village of Konoha on nearly 15,000 m², with an opening planned for 2026. But it is not easy to imagine the scale of such a land without visuals or concept art to support these words.
Fortunately, Parc Spirou was quick to provide some details. To properly celebrate the end of year celebrations, the tourist destination has given away an aerial drawing of the future area that is a dream come true. Since its inauguration in 2018, Parc Spirou has been far from being known for its theming efforts, but that is likely about to change.

A rather convincing mini Konoha
Unsurprisingly, the small French park is not able to offer a very busy reproduction of Naruto village. The concept art nevertheless allows us to see the inclusion of emblematic elements of the manga which will certainly have the most beautiful effect. The Hokage Monument will be the main point of interest in the land and will host the station of a major attraction: a thrilling roller coaster for the most daring ninjas. A 3D simulation also allows you to discover the coaster route in the first person.

The visual also includes a more family attraction, which Parc Astérix also operates in its Toutatis Festival land under the name Chez Girofolix. Restaurants and shops should offer the famous ramen that Naruto loves, as well as numerous derivative products that will delight fans.
“It is an immense joy and honor for us to bring the NARUTO universe to life at Parc Spirou. We have been working on this incredible expansion for 2 years now. Carried out hand in hand between the Park, Mediatoon and our Japanese partners Shueisha, Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo, this project will allow us to offer visitors the most immersive experience possible for a theme park. declares Hervé Lux, general director of Parc Spirou Provence. This project promises to be a very nice surprise, both for amusement park fans and for fans of Japanese culture. It remains to be seen whether the state’s execution will live up to the promises. See you in two years for the verdict.
