Apple TV kicks off 2026 with a packed slate of returning series in January, including a years-delayed espionage thriller, a beloved comedy, one of the best-reviewed shows on the streamer, and more. Here’s everything new coming to Apple TV in January.

Tehran (season 3)

  • When: January 9
  • What: TV Show
  • Genre: Espionage Thriller

“Tehran” follows Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity. After going rogue at the end of season two and reeling from the loss of her closest allies, in season three, Tamar must find a way to reinvent herself and win back the Mossad’s support if she is to survive. Sultan will reprise her widely acclaimed role as Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, alongside returning stars Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi, and new additions Hugh Laurie, Sasson Gabai, Bahar Pars and Phoenix Raei.

In season two of “Drops of God,” Camille and Issei are thrust into their most perilous challenge yet: to uncover the origin of the world’s greatest wine, a mystery so profound that even their legendary father, Alexandre Léger, could not solve it. What begins as a pursuit of legacy becomes a search for truth that spans continents and centuries, unearthing forgotten histories, hidden rivalries and secrets buried for generations. As the search pushes them to the edges of the world, and to the darkest corners of themselves, Camille and Issei must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice. The answer could shatter their bond as siblings … or destroy them both.

New episodes: Palm Royale

Typically Apple TV has several additional ongoing series airing new episodes as a new month begins. But the streamer largely wound down its output heading into the holidays.

Palm Royale is the only show still airing new episodes for now, and it wraps up January 14. If you’re looking for something else to watch, there’s plenty to catch up on with all of the above series returning soon.

Which of Apple TV’s January releases do you plan to watch? Let us know in the comments.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, Pluribus, and more. You can also get it through the Apple One bundle.
